Finally have my first XB in the oven and surprised there wasn't a fan club yet...

Well, allow me to get things started. This is my first Carvin that I received in Feb. of 2010. Its an XB75P. Lots of nice deep and rich tone from this bass!

Awesome bass! I was beginning to wonder where all the XB owners were...

Is that walnut with Koa/maple neck?

Thank you. The neck is actually mahogany w/ maple strips, ebony fretboard.

Mahogany, ah ok. Koa can look very similar from afar. Awesome looking bass either way! Im growing quite impatient for mine.
