Yeah I like that Vanquish, too! I commented how the bevel skews the grain pattern. creates a cool effect, especially with the AAT finish.

I'm glad to see so many with gloss finishes. While satin is cool, and makes it look like some reclaimed relic, I love that it still has a modern-ness to it with the gloss.

I went with the gloss because that first JB that Steve Jenkins got looks hawt and I also thought the gloss would look best with the exposed neck through. I'm glad I got the gloss for this build.

However, if I played guitar, that satin matte DC800 that's in stock would BE MINE.

If for some reason I don't get along with this Icon, I may have Carvin build an LB or Xcclerator just like it.

Just wow in satin vintage yellow:

Yes to this one. It was the first AAT example I saw and in my opinion it has yet to be beat. I would love to see a TL 60 in the same finish.

I'm all in for the gloss ones. Great.

PS. I'm waiting for a DC145C in Trans Purple gloss over AAT treated Ash (officially a 2015 anniversary model).
Pictures will be added later ;-)

I hope the grain will be a bit more accentuated than on my DC127M. The Trans Pearl Blue mentioned earlier in this thread (there's some links to photos).

I am planning to take new photos of those two together. Later

Oh yeah, the other reason I chose gloss is because I like gloss necks and didn't want to pay $XX to put a gloss neck on a satin matte body ; )

REALLY nice subtle effect, almost looks like a shadow. I'm not a Vader/Strandberg type guy, but that is really nice. Enjoy that beauty!

Wow, cool to still see some more versatility in what can be done with AAT. I love AAT!

I also think the matching they did with the top is really cool. works well with the big rear end on the Vader.
