Cool. Basically a standard without binding.

I will be a contrarian ... I only sold 1 of my Carvins. This one.

This was basically a DC127 version of a Carved Top I wanted, at a time when options were ... far more limited. I already had the 24 fret neck-thru thing nailed down, and after owning CTs, DCs weren't cutting it for me as much. Although I loved every other thing about this tung oiled (all over) guitar. The playability, the sexy feel, ... you know.

The good news of this story is it went to an occasional Carvinite who made good use out of it and likes the guitar. So cool. 8)
Proud Carvin owner since 1985! My Carvin gear time capsule...

Dont miss the purple CT6!
(Any photobucket links are probably now broken. Grrrrrr!!!)

I haven't sold any of my Carvin/Kiesel instruments, so nothing to regret.

There is only one that I wouldn't regret if I sold it. I really like my 27" six string Vader from the 2015 run, but I've got a Warmoth baritone that I like more.

I'm probably going to have to sell some gear, but my Carvin/Kiesel guitars won't be the first to go. I might sell my Carvin bass stack, but since I never actually ended up using it at a gig, letting it go won't be too painful.

The biggest regret I have is that I waited until 2013 to buy my first Carvin guitar, even though I'd wanted one since 1986 or so.

The only other gear regret I have is that I passed on a used neck through guitar from a company I'd never heard of before (might have been an Aria, don't remember with certainty) that I almost bought back around 1989. At the time, I hadn't played enough different guitars to have confidence in my assessment of build quality, tone, value, etc..

So, the Paul is up on the verb - time to rectify that mistake (selling my first Carvin) haha! I keep coming back to Spud's CS6 - I can't decide between red again or the deep black...my wife says I can't get something brown-ish again, since my SH6 is Honeyburst.
