NBD-The Dark and The Light...

Postby pbass6811 » Thu May 11, 2017 5:54 pm

Well, it's NBD. While I'm super excited and it's exactly what I wanted, there's not much to see here...

It's your basic, black bass, LOL! I went this route before I was positive that I was a fan, so if I didn't get on with it, it might be easier to get rid of. Since I'm now a registered addict, I might've gone a different direction with this, BUT, I am completely digging it! I would've taken more higher quality pics, but I'm gonna spend tonight getting to know this thing and going over our setlist for this weekend.

Bassically, it's spec'd like this:

-VB5
-Ash
-CS
-B
-EFB
-NIN
-AC
-DSLB(I like it! I think the logo looks cool!)
-SL

The Light and The Dark-

The incoming fretless will be more interesting, promise...

-VB5/fretted/Satin Jet Black
-VB5/fretless/FDBC
-CT324X/Primer Gray

Very cool. I don't think anyone complains about a satin black Kiesel!

I once saw a black logo with black drop shadow on satin black bass. Stealthy :ninja:

Sweeet, sounds like it was worth the wait

Very stealthy, looks killer. Let us know how you like the tones

I think it looks great! Great to hear that you're really diggin' it. Tone wise, how does it compare to the other one?

Yeah, higher quality pics should be taken so we can see that black better! :laughhard:

Looks great! Love the white/blue one, too. :)

How much blacker could it be? The answer is: none. None more black. The white-on-black drop shadow logo was a cool touch.

Looks great! Nice pair there.

Satin on Black is a special kind of finish. Simple yet sublime and just so smooth to the touch.
Great build!
Congrats and enjoy!!
