JB/PB question

Postby toejam » Tue Sep 05, 2017 9:46 am

Are the JB and PB models available with any other headstock than the standard classic-style headstock?

As long as you call and ask, yes.
Kiesel basses, lots of pedals, nothing wrong

What's strange is that I can't find a single example of anything but the standard headstock in Google, but I swear I've seen one with the Icon headstock.

[edit: Nevermind. Found one. http://www.kieselguitarsbbs.com/viewtopic.php?t=47802 ]

I think the reverse Icon would be my favorite, but I don't think they do that one anymore.

Very cool! I've never seen those. It's a much better look.

Sorry I couldn't find a better photo...even that one was google's cached compressed image, as the real ones are no longer available from what I can tell. :(

I actually don't mind the standard headstock on those two models. I really didn't care for the slightly-more-angled version they had on guitars for a while, like on the TLB60...but it works on on the PB and JB. But I still like the Icon headstock better. :)

I feel like the "V" headstock on the PB could be a bit fun, if it's done in a fun combination of colors/finishes.

I don't mind those headstocks all that much, either, just think they're a little too generic/Sears looking. The V would be a nice touch, as well as the older inline like the LB and Timothy B. Schmit models.

The inline/LB headstock is my favorite, I always make a point of ordering it whether or not it's a standard option.
