1991 Carvin LB70, four pot control help

Postby aokvw » Sun Nov 12, 2017 4:32 am

Could someone please help me to understand what each of the four knobs controls on my bass?? There are no additional switches; just four pots.

Can you give us a pic of the knobs?

It's probably master volume/push pull for active passive, a pan pot for pickup blending, and a 2 band EQ - high and low.

Have no idea whether this page showing a 1991 LB-70 at the Carvin Museum site will answer for you. Mine is the center photo, fretted LB-70. 3 of the controls have a center detent, while the 4th does not. There is a place for a 9V battery. None of the knobs pull up.
