Vader trem clearance

Postby Allerian » Fri Apr 06, 2018 5:18 am

I feel kind of foolish for not noticing this sooner, but my Vader 6’s trem can’t be pulled sharp to any degree. The trem hits the edge of the cavity significantly. Anyone else encounter this? Planning to address the problem with a chisel/sandpaper.

Still a great guitar, but it seems odd that it would make it through QC like this.

Would you post a picture of where it's hitting?
We are entitled to our own, wrong, opinions.

Guitar theorem: G=X+1 where G= guitars one needs, and X = guitars one has.

Do or do not; there is no understand.

A little more info here. It was hitting on the low E string side. This guitar had been loaned to another player whose house had very very low humidity. After spending a couple weeks back in my studio, the clearance problem resolved itself.
