Carvin DC7 locking bridge

Postby sjrp86 » Sun Nov 15, 2020 2:16 am

Hi everyone. I bought a DC747 a few weeks back which I've fallen in love with. It has the old licenced locking bridge which seems to hold tuning well, but I would like to swap out the bridge for a higher quality one in the future.

I've looked at the Schaller Lockmeister 7 bridge. Beside a slightly wider string spacing (which should still be fine), has any one had any problems with installing a replacement floyd in the past? any additional routing needed?

thanks in advance!

Check out the bottom of the first post in this thread. The photo links are broken, but at the very bottom of the first post, he mentions a couple slight modifications.
