I am fairly sure the newest 2014 cat has at least 3 forum members guitars on the cover guitar [see it and that will make sense]
[2] DC7X 27", Loomis 26.5", S7G 27.5", Walden CE550, Ibanez 7 nylon string.
My Kiesel wish list - All 7 strings. All 27" scale option.
New symmetrical V7X, X227X, TL7X, C77X Bolt [smooth heel]
Semi-Hollow CT7. Head or Headless [CODA's photoshop]

Holding strong as the Carvin Bolt Plus representative for 3 issues!
Page 40.
Facebook sneak peak:
Lost and alone it sat in GIS without any interest or locking nut.
$30 and one locking nut later (thank you Steve S.) and it's mine all mine
Only one change made - Rosewood knobs
Hands down my current favorite Carvin and guitar for that matter.
I was never a fan of Koa, but the stripes on this one were just too much - it had to be mine!
I'm so glad I have a guitar with a floyd again (satisfies my 80s upbringing) and the HSH (new to me) is magical.
Did I mention those stripes??????

Yep, yours is one of the three I mentioned. SpamSpam and Hairmacht on the same cover guitar as yours.
The DC7X in Teal Swamp Ash in the latest catalog is a forum members. Spud liked that one a lot I think

They once published a letter I wrote to them in a catalog. Does that count?

I didn't count to see if your letter was a thousand words however I should think having a letter to Carvin printed in their catalog is even more rare than getting ones guitar pictured.
I vote yes though we may need spud to do a poll

NO MORE POLLS!!
Congrats to all those on their imagination for the customs that made it in, and for the great taste for those who saw something special in an in-stock to make it into the catalog!

Well said!
Bovine I have to give credit to GNP for the idea for the thread, and even though I'm not a 'member' of the club, seeing all the great posts here makes me feel like I'm surrounded by celebrities! There's also something warm-and-fuzzy about seeing a guitar/bass in the catalog or in-stock, and then seeing it get a good home by a forum member. It fully connects the circle of life, or has some kind of spiritual meaning. I don't know. Maybe I just like seeing more pictures...

I'm holding it in my avatar.
And it's well documented in the AE185 club.

Well in the spirit of community I'll say this -- actually, it was Catman and Arahobob that gave me the idea in a way -- hearing in other threads about those axes making the catalog -- BING! We need a thread on that!

Elf-Dood... you ROCK!!
=======================
Here's my "Jeannie"...
She's one of the first CT624's, built as a NAMM model.
She's still on the CT624 front page and gallery...
I've seen her in at least 4-5 catalogs in the past, though it's been awhile now...
She's also a model on this guy's site:
http://www.fretsonthenet.com/ESP_Carvin ... Carvin.htm
** I forgot there's a headshot on my Icon at the bottom of the page...

Thanks, and good luck.
