Same. Maybe in MOP on an ebony board, i think i'd like them more.

But I'm really really really liking the offset (non-staggered) dots, and I think the only other inlay I might want is "micro dots", basically just the size of the old fretboard side dots, but on the face.

They look like... noses.

Hm. Since all those imaged appear similar, I wonder if there's a new signature model in the works?

They are also all "RUSH" builds, which make sense if it's for an artist.

That's exactly what I thought. They sort of look like the pointy version of Mr. Potato Head noses. That's not a criticism though, I think they look swell.

Looks are inconsequential. It's about sounds.

Like the Strandberg Boden? Well, the Boden has staggered dots but I love the size of them (and that they are staggered).

LMBleepingAO!!

They totally do look like noses! They seem kind of . . . small. And maybe a little oddly placed?

I only have one question for you...

Did you already have that photo on hand, or did you take it special? Either way: comedy gold...but I'd be even more impressed if you just happened to have it.

I think he took it over the past 24 hours. That's my guess... too late to turn back now.

That "new inlays design" thread was curated with tons of affection and attention to detail in the now deleted "Product Suggestions" area of the BBS for YEARS AND YEARS.

And now this? Hilarious.
