Here's the wiring diagrams for just the pre-wired pickguards. Does this help at all?
https://www.kieselguitars.com/manuals/P ... ev2008.pdf

If not:
1. Do you have the SSS or HSS pickup layout?
2. Could you post a photo of the base of the switch?

if you look at the pic of the S1g toggle switch you will see the the 3 posts on the switch..but they are actually coming out of the center of the back.
then if you look at the S1B pic you will see the the 4th post in its actual spot
i assumed that was the ground??but my logic maybe wrong
the wiring diagrams are not helpful in this

as a side note:..i could have easily wired everything else wrong but i feel like its not overly confusing to follow a wiring diagram.... and after checking and rechecking everything i assume this is the problem

You have HH pickups, but a pickguard? Do you have a GH3 model?

Center lug : Connect to the volume control (if using only a master volume, and not individual pickup volume controls). If using individual volume controls, connect to the hot wire on the output jack.

Left lug : Connect to the neck pickup hot wire (or one leg of an individual volume control)

Right lug : Connect to the bridge pickup hot wire (or one leg of an individual volume control).

The fourth lug (not down the center) is for ground/shielding, and the ground/shield wires of the pickups can connect there if desired. Otherwise, connect it to the ground bus wire. It's not absolutely necessary, but can help with noise rejection.

I'm not a huge fan of the "box switch" that Carvin/Kiesel switched to. they don't seem to last as long, but they do give a solid click between spots. A 3 position Switchcraft toggle tends to last longer, especially if it's the "L" shaped ones. The short, straight ones are less robust, but still can outlast a box switch. It's just preference in the end.
