I've been Jonsing for a Tele for awhile and finally pulled the trigger last week. It arrived yesterday and was able to put her thru a good work out and am happy to report there are absolutely no disappointments here. She is a 2016 American Standard and is in minty condition. It's got that classic Tele twang I've been wanting and she came with perfect intonation and action. It is very comfortable to play given her light weight and belly contour. I installed the locking tuners and white pearloid pickguard I recently purchased and they look great. I'm one happy camper!

Cool! Looks great

I still get GAS for a Tele once in a while, but then some other guitar "need" comes up and I buy something else. 8)

Nice touch with the cutaway too.

ElfDude - I know exactly where you're coming from. When I retired, there were basically only two guitars I wanted to finish my collection: Gibson Les Paul and an American Tele. Since I already had a Carvin CS624, the Tele was to be first. Well, here we are almost two years later and am just now getting that Tele! In between, I did get my Les Paul, a 2019 LP Traditional, but also a Martin D35, PRS Archon, Splawn QR, Orange Rockerverb MKII 100, Mesa Triple Rec, Marshall JVM 210H, Dr. Z Carmen Ghia with matching 2X12 cab and most recently an Orange OR15. As of now, I can only think of two more purchases: Taylor acoustic and a Friedman amp, either the PT20 or Dirty Shirley. I'm also at that point where there is not much room left for much more. I don't want to get to the point where it is one comes in and one goes out. I still enjoy all of the gear that I do have and don't see myself getting rid of any of it.
