Regarding my stock instrument, a March 2005 Vintage Guitar magazine article featuring a DN640K stated 'The two output jacks are wired for separate necks, allowing separate amplification for guitar (lower jack) and bass (upper jack). However, both necks can be run through just the lower jack.'
Connecting my instrument through the lower jack does not provide this feature using the neck switch. Only operates using both jacks/ two cords. Was that VG article 'fake news'?
Wondering if someone at Kiesel might advise? I have its original receipt if further dating or documentation is needed.
